CAPIS utilizes a team approach to transition management that provides you with a central contact for all administrative aspects of the process. Supporting your primary contact will be a senior member of our trading team, our transition analysis group, and our back office manager. The Transition Management Services (TMS) team coordinates with you, your custodian, and your managers every step of the way. Our goal is to simplify the process for you by alleviating your administrative load throughout the transition period. With TMS team in place, CAPIS will coordinate with your custodian on in-kind transfers, trade settlement and problem resolution; communicate with your in-coming and out-going managers if requested; and provide you with transparent pre and post-trade reporting.

CAPIS TMS leverages a number of tools including our own NYSE floor brokerage operation, multiple ECN connections, crossing networks, and NASDAQ desk. Determining how to productively utilize these resources requires an in-depth pre-trade analysis that examines liquidity issues, sector weightings, historical performance, and portfolio benchmark correlation. Based upon the findings of the analysis, a strategy is devised to execute the transition quickly while controlling risk and maintaining market neutrality.
