Abraxas was founded in 2001 to assist the U.S. government with its most critical national security requirements. Our investment intelligence service provides clients with customized due diligence based on primary source intelligence. For each project, we define and customize the project based on the client's needs; conduct extensive open source research; identify sources who are best able to address the client's specific areas of interest; contact and establish relationships with targeted sources; collect and evaluate primary intelligence; synthesize and report intelligence to the client, and receive client feedback. Our approach is iterative - we repeat the above process until the client can make an investment decision with confidence and clarity. Our investment intellgence projects cover corporate, country, and management issues. Our coverage area includes Europe, China, Russia, India, the Middle East, and several Latin American countries.

Our DDER experts provide clients with training in behavioral analysis and information elicitation techniques. Drawing upon decades of experience in national security and law enforcement organizations, where team members operated against foreign intelligence officers, terrorists and criminals, our deception detection experts provide clients with the keys to identify and understand both verbal and non-verbal behaviors indicative of deception. We then provide information elicitation techniques that show our clients how to confront and elicit information to resolve incompatible behavioral and verbal indicators while avoiding overly hostile confrontations.
