The SP 500 is still below its 50 day simple moving average and its 200 day simple moving average. The Russell 2000 is still below its 50 day simple moving exponential average and 200 day simple moving average.

The QPI10 Day Moving Average of Breadth (10DMA) moved to cash on 11/21. For a move to cash, the 10DMA needs to have two days in row below -200.

Yesterday saw the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Russell 2000 all closed pivot to support. It was a struggle. We did not get three days in a row below support so our prediction for trading was correct. Today sees no prediction as FOMC days can see wild trading.

Weekly API Petroleum Data saw Crude Oil build by 3.452 million barrels. Gasoline built by 1.767 million barrels.

Weekly Mortgage Applications fell -5.8%.

November Existing Home Sales are expected to fall to 5.20 million from 5.22 million. Due at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

Weekly Crude Oil Inventories due out at 10:30 a.m. EDT. Last week saw a draw of 1.2 million barrels. Note above API data saw a build.


FOMC concludes a two day meeting with announcement at 2:00 p.m. EDT and press conference at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
